DAVID

I am Dr. Ochigbo David, a seasoned veterinarian and dedicated educator from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi. Beyond my professional endeavors, I find solace in the trifecta of football, literature, and music, occasionally delving into the immersive realm of gaming.

Combining my passion for veterinary science and education, I have carved a path as a compassionate healer for animals and an inspiring mentor for students. As I navigate the realms of academia, my hobbies serve as outlets for creativity and relaxation.Whether on the football field, immersed in a captivating book, lost in the melodies of music, or engaging in a challenging game, each pursuit enriches my life and influences my perspective.

My literary journey began in my formative years, where I passionately addressed societal injustices and vehemently advocated against violence, particularly towards women. My works delve into pressing social matters, notably emphasizing the importance of mental health.

I received my OND in civil engineering from Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi between 2009 and 2014.In 2016, I started my degree in Theology at Pontificia Università Antonianum and will complete my Masters in Philosophy with a specialization in integral Ecology in 2024.

I am passionate about the growth of people, social, spiritual, and intellectual, and am working on a project called Visionary Youths to help young people thrive in life. While in Nigeria, I was involved in hospital visitation, working with young people in a correction center, and organizing events for the poor and internally displaced. Now in Rome, I volunteer with people with special needs, assisting in an art lab and offering friendship. Bringing joy to the needy is fulfilling, but helping them grow and become a beacon for others is truly satisfying.
