Summary of Position
Welcome guests and guide them to their tables. Making sure safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
Communicate with other staff such as dinners, informing them of clients’ bookings, needs, and complaints
Collaborate with other restaurant staff and management to ensure that customer complaints are adequately attended to in a timely manner.
Inform guests about the availability of tables and direct them to the tables.
Draw up client bookings for tables and ensure that tables are set before clients’ arrival.
